Maps optimized for different bike users

The ROX 12.1 EVO comes with pre-installed maps for many countries, so you can get started right out of the box! SIGMA has developed its own map presentation to help you find your way around the trails. Cycle paths and trails are highlighted on the maps, always guiding you along the best route, no matter which road or bike you're riding. The compressed maps take up minimal storage space, so you can permanently install many areas around the world. You can download additional maps and regular updates free of charge via Wi-Fi, so you'll always find the perfect route wherever you are.

Innovative navigation

Whether you simply enter an address or navigate to a point of interest (POI) on the map, there are no limits to your cycling navigation. With the Home Navigation function, your ROX 12.1 EVO will always guide you home the fastest way. The back-to-start function guides you back to the starting point of your route—even along the same route, if desired. Of course, you can also use the various navigation functions independently, without connecting your ROX computer to the internet or your smartphone.

Your route options

You decide what criteria your route should meet. You can choose from three route options: recommended, easiest, or shortest. An elevation profile is also displayed for each route. Additionally, you can set your route preferences individually for each sport profile (bike paths, main roads, unpaved roads).

Route directions

The map can be flexibly displayed to suit your needs, in both large and small versions. While navigating, the display shows the route and navigation instructions. A pop-up window and an audible signal announce the next turn. The distance to the next turn and the street name are also displayed.

Loading routes – it's that easy!

Loading routes has never been easier: Load routes from portals like Strava or komoot or import them in .gpx format into the SIGMA RIDE app. Now you can view your routes clearly at any time, sync them with your ROX 12.1 EVO, and start your ride. This keeps the route list in your bike sat nav at a glance. Practical: you can save your favorite routes to "Favorites" for quick access.

Planning routes in advance

With the ROX 12.1 EVO, you can also plan your trips in advance. From the comfort of your couch, you can create and save routes for your next cycling vacation. Once you've created them, you'll find them in the route list.

Draw my route

A unique feature for those who enjoy surprises. Discover new routes with the unique "Draw my route" function. Simply draw a circle, one or more lines on the display, or on the map, and the ROX 12.1 EVO will suggest a route. Are the distance and elevation profile of the suggested route right? Go!

Intelligent rerouting

ROX won't leave you in a pinch! If you accidentally stray from your planned route, ROX will quickly suggest a new route to your destination, including recalculating the distance to your destination, estimated time of arrival, and elevation profile.

Individual sports profiles

Which bike do you want to choose today and for which route – mountain, gravel, or road? With six pre-defined sport profiles and 22 additional, individually configurable sport profiles, the ROX 12.1 EVO is ready for any cycling adventure. Within each sport profile, you can set training views, route preferences, and alarms. You can easily create and individually modify sport profiles on the ROX 12.1 EVO or in the SIGMA RIDE app – at any time, even during training.

Your workouts at your fingertips

The ROX 12.1 EVO helps you achieve structured and targeted training. The most important workouts are already installed. You can also download workouts from portals like TrainingPeaks to the ROX 12.1 EVO. Simply import them via the RIDE app, and you're ready to go!

Food and drink alarm

To ensure optimal energy supply during competitions and training, the ROX 12.1 EVO reminds you to eat or drink whenever you want, for example, at a specific time or after a specific distance. You can add your own text to the next personalized alarm, and you can also decide whether the alarm should only sound once or repeatedly.

Fancy some stationary training?

Connect the ROX 12.1 EVO to a smart trainer or roller trainer. This way, you can also use the bike computer's many features during stationary training. If you don't use ZWIFT during stationary training, your ROX 12.1 EVO can take over your on-trainer training.

Power meter functions

Cycling sports are no longer complete without power meters. With this training tool, you can precisely measure your performance and improve it in a targeted manner. In addition to general power meter values, your ROX 12.1 EVO also displays specific values such as TSS®, NP®, and IF®. You'll also receive OCA and OCP values for the 2INpower, INPower, or INSpider rotor. Measured values can be displayed in the training view both numerically and in graphs. Via BLE and ANT+, you can easily and reliably connect external sensors for measuring speed, cadence, and heart rate. The ROX 12.1 EVO is also available as a set with magnetless speed and cadence sensors and a chest strap for heart rate measurement (sensors are also available as accessories). To quickly analyze your training on your device, access your training sessions via the "My Activities" menu. All the values, graphs, and map view will help you analyze your training. Which of your routes was the longest, what's your speed record? In the "Achievements" menu, you'll find a list of all your small and large successes – and a trophy too!

If that's not enough, the free SIGMA RIDE app gives you detailed details of each ride and statistics that allow you to review and compare your progress over the past few weeks, months or years.

E-Bike compatible

The ROX 12.1 EVO is the perfect partner for your e-bike adventures. It can be easily paired with multiple e-bikes to display specific values, such as range, battery status, or support level, depending on the connected e-bike. Additionally, you can see gear shift recommendations on the display, saving energy and battery life.

The SIGMA RIDE app also helps you analyze your e-bike ride. Graphic profiles and heatmaps use different colors to visualize how much of the route was covered using which level of assistance, as well as the battery charge level during the ride, and much more.
