1. Waste electrical equipment must not be disposed of together with other municipal waste, as indicated by the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled waste container. Equipment bearing this symbol is subject to separate collection and recycling at designated collection points.
2. The presence of hazardous components in the equipment may potentially have negative effects on the environment, such as contamination, and consequently pose a risk to human health.
3. The waste equipment collection system complies with the legal regulations in force in the Republic of Poland (Act of 29 July 2005, Journal of Laws No. 180, items 1494 and 1495). The obligations arising from the Act have been assumed on behalf of the entrepreneur by the recovery organization Biosystem Kraków.
4. Households play an important role in contributing to the reuse and recovery, including recycling, of waste electrical equipment. Compliance with the rules for the separate collection of equipment is intended to ensure an appropriate level of protection for human health and the environment.
