Bauer Supreme 3S Pro Sr Hockey Skates The Supreme 3S Pro skates offer a new Performance Fit System for elite players. The Curve 3D composite with the possibility of full thermoforming, provides excellent comfort. The lower part of the boot is stiff and responsive enough to efficiently transfer energy. Additionally, a special cutout in the boot increases the wrapping of the skate for optimal stability and support of the foot for better push-off. The Reflex tendon protector, Reflex tongue and standard binding work together to add the right amount of power and energy to the push-off. The skates have a Tuuk LS Pulse blade made of excellent steel, with a highly polished finish. The blade is higher, for a better and more aggressive angle of the skates. The new blade equipped with the Bauer Power Profile helps to achieve good speed and a strong push-off. The flex of the ULTRASONIC skates is 80, offering a high level of support and stability for players. The player starting the bounce transfers weight to the toes and uses the front part of the blade. • • The second zone, known as the “transition” zone, located at about 9 inches of the blade radius. It helps the player transition from the initial bounce and sudden acceleration to a longer and more stable bounce phase. The center of gravity shifts backwards in this zone. • • The third zone, responsible for speed while skating. Utilizing an 11-inch blade radius, players maximize blade-to-ice contact for improved energy transfer. . • • The fourth zone, located toward the heel, is responsible for stability. This area has the longest radius of 13 inches to provide balance as players balance between edge changes and turns. Previously, if a player wanted the Supreme but the scanner showed Vapor, you were told to choose Vapor for optimal fit. Today, you can choose both the skate that fits optimally and the one that best fits your style of play. By analyzing thousands of foot scans, Bauer was able to create a skate designed for both performance and fit.
