Bauer Supreme 3S Pro Sr. Hockey Skates The Supreme 3S Pro ice skates offer a new performance fit system (Performance Fit System) for elite players. The fully thermoformable Curve 3D composite provides excellent comfort. The lower boot is stiff and responsive enough to efficiently transfer energy. Additionally, a special cutout in the boot increases the skate wrap for optimal stability and support for better kicks. The Reflex Tendon Protector, Reflex Tongue, and standard lacing work together to provide the right amount of power and energy for kicks. The skates feature a Tuuk LS Pulse blade made of premium steel with a highly polished finish. The blade is higher for a better and more aggressive skate angle. The new blade features the Bauer Power Profile, which helps achieve good speed and a powerful kick. The ULTRASONIC skates have an 80 flex, offering a high level of support and stability for players. The player initiating the push-off transfers their weight to their toes and uses the front part of the blade. • • The second zone, known as the “transition” zone, is located at approximately the 9-inch radius of the blade. It helps the player transition from the initial push-off and sudden acceleration to a longer and more stable push-off phase. The center of gravity shifts rearward in this zone. • • The third zone, responsible for speed while skating. Using an 11-inch blade radius, players maximize blade-to-ice contact for improved energy transfer. The fourth zone, located toward the heel, is responsible for stability. This area has the longest radius of 13 inches to ensure balance when players balance between edge shifts and turns. Bauer Performance Fit System: Athletes can choose skates based on their skating style, not just foot type. Previously, if a player wanted the Supreme but the scanner showed Vapor, they were told to choose Vapor for optimal fit. Today, you can choose both the skates that provide optimal fit and the ones that best suit your playing style. By analyzing thousands of foot scans, Bauer was able to create a skate designed for both performance and fit.
