BBB KeyGuard Chain 5/100 Bicycle Lock (BBL 115)

The KeyGuard Chain 5/100 is designed for securing a bicycle in urban environments and for everyday use, when chain flexibility is essential for wrapping it around bike racks, barriers and posts. The 1000 mm length provides greater freedom when choosing an attachment point than shorter cables, while remaining compact enough to carry easily in a bag or backpack.

The 5 mm hardened steel links form the basis of this model’s mechanical resistance, while the protective sleeve serves two practical functions. It reduces the risk of scratching the paintwork when securing the bicycle and limits chain noise during transport when the lock is exposed to uneven surfaces.

The lock uses a key-operated system, simplifying operation and eliminating the risk of forgetting a code. Three included keys make it easier to organise a spare, for example when the bicycle is used by more than one person. According to the manufacturer’s specification, no mounting bracket is provided, so the lock is carried independently of the frame.
