BCA Dozer 2H – Avalanche shovel with hoe function

The BCA Dozer 2H is a durable avalanche shovel designed for moving snow effectively and quickly in rescue situations. The model features a larger blade, a telescopic shaft and a practical Hoe Mode, which allows the shovel to be converted into a hoe for clearing large amounts of snow more efficiently.

The blade and shaft are made of durable 6061 T6 aluminium, providing a good balance of durability and relatively low weight. The 25 × 29 cm blade has a flat upper edge that allows you to place your boot on it and use your body weight when breaking through hard layers of snow.

One of the most important features of the Dozer 2H is the Hoe Mode. By changing the blade position, the shovel can be used like a hoe, making it possible to clear snow without having to lift it each time. This solution increases efficiency when digging out and moving larger amounts of snow.

The telescopic shaft with a T-grip can be extended to 60 cm, while the fully extended shovel has a total length of 80 cm. When shortened, the entire shovel is 60 cm long, which makes it easier to carry in a backpack equipped with a compartment for avalanche equipment. The model weighs 765 g.

The BCA Dozer 2H is certified to UIAA 156, confirming compliance with the requirements for shovels intended for avalanche rescue.
