The Dynastar M-VERTICAL 88 is a ski touring ski distinguished by its low weight, precise control, excellent turnability and outstanding performance on snow. It was designed for all skiers driven by curiosity and the pursuit of vertical metres, particularly those who climb steep slopes with an ice axe in hand.

The ski’s construction is based on a Hybrid Core – a combination of paulownia wood with a density of 300 g/m3 and low-density polyurethane along the sides of the wood. This reduces the ski’s weight by an average of 15–20% compared with a poplar core. Hybrid Core technology provides a lightweight construction that offers a good feel for the snow during ascents and a smooth ride on the descent.

The entire construction has been reinforced with second-generation basalt fibre, providing a balance between flexibility and dynamism. It also has shock-absorbing properties, making it an ideal reinforcement for ski touring skis.

Additionally, fibreglass reinforcement has been used – the wooden part of the Hybrid Core is surrounded by a fibreglass box. This reinforces the vertical section of the ski, increasing skier comfort and improving snow feel.

The Sandwich construction and full sidewalls ensure reliable edge control in technical terrain and variable conditions.

The Early Rise tip rocker makes ascents easier, improves turn initiation and increases manoeuvrability on the descent.

The Sintered HD Base provides excellent glide in all snow conditions, making it easier and faster to reach the summit while ensuring a smooth descent. The 88 mm waist width provides proper float in powder, while the stiffness allows descents on frozen snow.

The dedicated Dynastar M-Vertical 88 skins (DKJW103/DOLW108) have been perfectly matched to the ski’s geometry. They are manufactured by Pomoca. (Sold separately)
