K2 Embassy – outstanding versatility for ambitious all-mountain and freeride riders

K2 Embassy is a true snowboard classic, fully ready for all conditions – designed primarily for intermediate and advanced riders who expect complete control, stability and responsiveness across varied terrain. Thanks to the combination of a directional construction, dynamic profile and advanced materials, this snowboard performs equally well on groomed pistes, in deep powder and on technical freeride sections.

Key technologies and their impact on riding

• BAP Core (Bamboo, Aspen, Paulownia): A core made from three types of wood sourced from sustainable sources. This ideal combination of lightness, flex and durability ensures a smooth ride and dynamic pop.

• Combination Camber Profile: Traditional camber with added rocker at the nose and tail of the board. This combination enables dynamic turns, full edge control and improved float in fresh powder, as well as making butters easier.

• ICG™ 10 Biax Carbon Glass: A fiberglass laminate layer with embedded carbon fibers running along the entire length of the board – the reinforced structure provides better pop, a more responsive ride and greater stability without unnecessary stiffness.

• Sintered 4000 Base: A fast, durable base that absorbs wax significantly better and retains it for longer, ensuring a smoother glide on various surfaces.

• Hybridtech™ Construction: Effectively reduced weight and an environmentally friendly construction free of excess plastic – efficient and durable, with a reduced environmental impact at the same time.

Technical specifications and setup details

• Shape: directional with a subtle taper – easier turn initiation and a smooth exit, often even on flat terrain.

• Flex: medium-stiff (approximately 7/10) – provides stability at higher speeds while remaining responsive.

• Profile: combination camber – camber with slight rocker at the nose and tail.

• Available lengths: a wide range from 149 cm to 165 cm Wide, with waist widths from approx. 24.1 cm to 26.6 cm in the Wide models – suitable for different foot sizes and riding styles.

• Turn radius: from 7.25 to 8.3 m depending on the board length, translating into smooth transitions between turns as well as aggressive riding.

• Stance setback: 0.5 inch – a slightly setback stance for better board control in the direction of travel.

• Rider weight: from approx. 41 kg for the smallest models up to approx. 104 kg for the Wide version.
