K2 FREELOADER SPLIT PACKAGE Snowboard – 11F0040/1W

The K2 Freeloader Package offers a perfectly tuned splitboard set consisting of a splitboard, pre-cut skins, hardware and mounting discs. The splitboard itself impresses with K2’s super-light Paulownia Tour-Lite Core as well as an extremely fast and durable base, which is why we recommend it for experienced snowboarders. The special SnowPhobic top sheet prevents snow from sticking to the top of the board. This makes it lighter and saves energy during the ascent, which can be put to good use on the descent.

Technologies:

• Profile: Combining traditional camber and rocker profiles, the Directional Combination Camber offers the benefits of both worlds: the pop and precision of camber, as well as the smoothness and playfulness of rocker.

• Shape: The K2 Freeloader features a directional shape with a tapered contour for increased float.

• Construction: The Paulownia Tour-Lite Core is up to 500 g lighter than conventional snowboard cores.

• ICG™ 20 Triax fiberglass integration provides consistent power delivery in and out of turns while increasing the snowboard’s pop, lifespan and durability, without adding unnecessary torsional stiffness. The sintered 5500 base is K2’s fastest and hardest base. It absorbs wax deep into the material, ensuring lasting glide and unmatched durability.

• Karakorum Ultra Clips: When connected, the Karakoram Ultra Clip presses the two splitboard halves together, eliminating annoying vibrations. To prevent unintended lever movement in touring mode, it can also be secured in the ski position.
