K2 GATEWAY RENTAL Snowboard

K2 Gateway Rental is a versatile all-mountain snowboard designed for intensive use in rental fleets. It combines easy, predictable handling with suitable stability and durability, making it well suited both for learning and for further developing skills. The model is primarily intended for beginner and intermediate snowboarders who want to move freely around the entire resort.

The construction features an Aspen Core – a lightweight core made from a single type of wood, providing consistent flex, liveliness and high durability. The ICG™ 10 Biax Carbon Glass laminate combines biaxial fiberglass with ten integrated carbon fibers, improving the board’s response and stability without making it excessively stiff.

The Extruded 2000 Base used here is a durable, resistant and easy-to-maintain extruded base. It does not require as intensive maintenance as sintered bases, and in the event of damage it is relatively easy to repair – a particularly important feature for equipment intended for rental fleets.

The Gateway Rental is available in a wide range of lengths, including Wide versions, making it easier to match the board to users with different weights and boot sizes. For the Gateway Rental model, the K2 catalogue specifies the use of standard 2x4 inserts.
