The Wayback 80 retains its lightweight construction with our ultralight Balsa / Paulownia Tour core. The added Ti Spyne (titanium laminate) increases the skis’ stability underfoot. If you plan to push the boundaries of ski mountaineering, the Wayback 80 is the ski for you.

Skis with this rocker feature a progressively raised tip for excellent versatility in all conditions. The tail is also raised to provide control in changing snow.

TI SPYNE:

A Titanal laminate developed specifically for K2 Touring skis, which dramatically increases the predictability and damping of lightweight carbon constructions while improving stability and edge grip.

CARBON OVERDRIVE:

A top-secret carbon-fiber construction in touring skis that gives them incredible handling. The level of enjoyment achieved is difficult to measure :)

SNOPHOBIC™️ TOPSHEET:

Helps eliminate snow buildup while traveling uphill and downhill.

PAULOWNIA CORE:

Lively, flexible wood with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
