K2 WAYBACK 84 Skis

Wayback 84 are the narrowest skis in the refreshed BackSide collection. Designed for use in the world of ski touring, these skis offer reliable handling on descents and in turns, as well as lightweight performance on the ascent.

Skin Grommets – Holes at the tip and tail of the skis in ski touring models. Compatible with the Z-Clip system in K2 skins, allowing the skins to be attached with ease. These holes also make it possible to build a toboggan, provided you also have a BCA shovel in your backpack.

Carbon Overdrive – A top-secret carbon-fiber construction in ski touring skis that provides incredible handling. The level of enjoyment achieved is difficult to estimate.

Snowphobic Topsheet – Hydrophobic material that prevents snow from sticking to the top surface of the skis. When climbing uphill, we do not carry the unnecessary weight of snow on our skis. To help the snow slide off, we can use ski wax and apply it to the top of the skis as well.

Wayback 80

Wayback 80 will help you conquer undiscovered trails without losing energy. This ski performs equally well on soft and frozen snow. The ski with the highest amount of carbon among K2 products also features a special “TiSpyne” insert in the central section. This technology delivers very low weight while maintaining very good riding properties.
