The La Sportiva TX Guide Leather 27S900100 (Carbon/Yellow) is a leather version of a popular approach shoe designed for alpine guides, climbers, and those exploring technical approaches. The upper is constructed from durable nubuck and abrasion-resistant leather, providing both flexibility and protection—the perfect blend of comfort and durability.

The interior of the shoe is lined with breathable mesh, which promotes ventilation and reduces the feeling of overheating. The "Approach" insole is Ortholite, offering good cushioning and comfort on long hikes.

The midsole is composed of dual-density EVA and TPU foam, providing stability, good cushioning, and support, especially in areas requiring precise contact with rocks. The sole features a Vibram rubber tread with a MegaGrip and IdroGrip compound, with a "climbing zone" at the front and Impact Brake System blocks at the rear, providing good grip on wet and dry rocks, as well as downhill braking.

The shoes have asymmetrical lacing (climbing style) that reaches close to the toes and allows for a very precise fit. The lower part of the shoe is equipped with a delicate toe protector made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material – it protects against impacts on rocks.
