The Badia model also features a cork footbed that effectively wicks away perspiration and enhances wearing comfort. A distinctive feature of this boot is the possibility of adjusting the space beneath the cork footbed, allowing special orthopaedic insoles to be fitted and the boot volume to be increased. It is also worth noting that the Badia model has a seamless heel counter, eliminating any feeling of pressure on the back of the foot. The boots are made entirely of waxed nubuck leather, and the inside is also lined with cowhide leather. The Comfort Hiker II sole is equipped with an EVA shock absorber, while the front of the boot is reinforced with a rubber rand to protect the toes from impacts.
