K2 Wayback 80 2025 – Men’s Backcountry / Ski Touring Skis

K2 Wayback 80 is an ultralight, technical model designed for ambitious ski tourers as well as intermediate and advanced skiers. It performs exceptionally well on long ascents and descents on hard-packed terrain, offering the lightness and control required for high-altitude expeditions.

Key technologies:

•

Balsa / Paulownia Tour Ultra-Light Core – an exceptionally light and responsive core that reduces fatigue on ascents while maintaining stability on descents.

•

Ti Spyne (Titanal) + Carbon Overdrive – laminates that enhance vibration damping, stability and precision on hard snow.

•

All-Terrain Rocker – rocker in the tip and tail makes turn initiation easier and provides float in light snow; camber underfoot ensures edge grip and pop.

•

Snowphobic Topsheet – the hydrophobic coating on the ski’s topsheet prevents snow from sticking during ascents.

•

Weight – approx. 968 g per ski (163 cm) – the ultralight profile makes every ascent easier.
