The Monolight Insulated Hood Jacket is a lightweight, insulated hooded jacket designed for mountaineering. Its narrow quilting requires less fill power while still providing warmth, making it ideal for layering during intense activities year-round.
The regular fit allows for freedom of movement without adding bulk. It can be worn comfortably over a base or mid-layer, and when conditions require more protection, it can be easily slipped under a shell jacket.
Made from lightweight, recycled 20D ripstop fabric that protects against wind while shedding light rain and snow, it's filled with a loose synthetic lining for exceptional softness and greater freedom of movement.
It features a fixed hood for added protection and zippered handwarmer pockets. A chin guard prevents chafing at the collar, and an included repair patch extends the life of the garment. The jacket also features a hanging loop and Peak Performance logo embroidery on the chest. • Recommended washing method: Hand wash in cold water (30°C). Do not bleach. Tumble dry at a low temperature. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Do not professionally wet clean. Wash inside out. Close zippers before washing. Do not soak or wring. Do not use fabric softener. Do not use tennis balls when washing or drying. Use the wool cycle. Wash with similar colors. Wash with a technical detergent to maintain water repellency. Remove immediately after washing. Tumble dry or lay flat.
