The Northwave Celsius XC GTX are MTB shoes for XC marathons, developed for training during mild winters. The shoe is made with a Pique Gore-Tex® membrane that keeps the foot warm and provides excellent insulation. Additional padding in the toe area ensures better thermal insulation.

Power is transferred to the pedals through the carbon-fibre-reinforced Jaws Carbon Reinforced sole, with a stiffness index of 8.0. It is ideal for those looking for a demanding technical sole combined with comfort. The tread made of natural rubber provides exceptional grip on any surface.

The upper features an “overlap” construction made from the most innovative materials: it evenly wraps around the foot without pressure points, enables excellent power transfer and eliminates energy loss. Additional TPU reinforcements provide 360° protection across the entire shoe upper.

Simple, intuitive operation and an optimal fit are enabled by the SLW3 adjustment system. The easy and intuitive mechanism allows millimetre-precise adjustment of the closure and quick release of the shoe even while riding and wearing winter gloves.

The new Easyfit collar, made from an extremely flexible Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane and highly insulating neoprene, provides a very high degree of freedom of movement as well as maximum protection against adverse weather conditions. The ergonomic heel shape with an anatomical fit, enhanced by the latest thermoformed support technology, combined with the Arctic 4Layer insole made of Aluminium Eva+ and Eva+ fleece, provides excellent thermal insulation.

360° reflective inserts increase visibility and safety on the road, particularly in poor visibility conditions.
