The POC Levator Mips is the Swedish company's first helmet with a visor, designed to enhance safety and ensure absolute functionality in the mountains. The new Levator Mips helmet combines the panoramic visibility of an integrated visor with improved head protection zones, ensuring an optimal balance of safety and field of vision on the slopes.
The extended visor offers a field of view larger than any ski goggle, so you can be sure your peripheral vision is as good as physically possible. A simple lens change mechanism makes it easy to swap lenses, so you can always adapt to the prevailing weather conditions. An additional Category 1 lens is included in the box.
The large Clarity lens is what will get you noticed on the slopes, and its contrast- and light-enhancing technology sets it apart from others on the market. Clarity provides sharp, clear vision, making it easier to read the snow and see all the bumps on the slope.
The helmet's shell is made of ABS, which is exceptionally strong, durable, and impact-resistant. Underneath the shell, EPP multi-impact protection zones are located in the areas most vulnerable to impact during a fall, and the zones around the back of the head are thicker for additional protection.
For added safety on the slopes, the innovative Mips Evolve system provides additional brain protection against rotational impacts. The RECCO® Avalanche reflector increases the ability of rescue services to locate you if you get lost in the mountains.
Additional comfort is provided by a soft Alcantara lining around the lower part of the helmet, which allows for great freedom of movement. Furthermore, adjustable ventilation and removable ear pads add comfort even on warmer days on the slopes.
The 360° adjustment system ensures a comfortable and secure fit, while the Fidlock® neck buckle makes it easy to fasten the helmet even when wearing gloves.
