Fast-drying, transparent PVB coating with good insulating properties. It protects printed circuit boards and other components operating under adverse atmospheric conditions against corrosion. The coating protects printed circuit boards against the formation of stray currents and short circuits. In series production, the coating can be applied by brush, dipping or spraying. If the mixture is too viscous for spray equipment, it can be thinned by adding a thinner. The exact proportions of the components must be determined individually. The product must be properly protected during storage. The coating is prone to cross-linking.
Creates a protective and insulating layer against atmospheric influences such as moisture, oxidation, dust and chemical contaminants; adheres well to metal, plastic and wood surfaces; creates a coating resistant to diluted acids, alkalis and atmospheric conditions; soldering through the coating is possible; prevents sparking and corona discharges; limits breakdowns between tracks; does not change its transparency or flexibility even after a long time; operating temperature: from -50°C to +150°C. Flash point: 380 °C.
