The Rossignol Hero Master ST is the most anticipated slalom ski of the 2022/2023 season. The Hero Master ST with Look SPX 15 Rockerace bindings mounted on the Look R22 plate is a sporty setup for expert and amateur racers looking for precision, incredibly dynamic performance, and exemplary grip on hard snow.

The Hero Master ST is designed and engineered like a FIS World Cup ski, but tailored to the needs of masters skiers on "civilian" slopes. It features the same innovative construction as the WC FIS SL ski, but with a slightly wider sidecut.

The sandwich construction, with a rectangular sidewall made of the same material as the FIS SL ski, is built around an ash wood core in the 165mm length, while the 156mm and 150mm lengths feature a PEFC-certified beech wood core. The woods were selected for their lengths to ensure appropriate stiffness for the skier's gender, weight, height, and expectations. Ash and beech provide optimal stability and vibration dampening.

Additionally, a titanium rail—Line Control Technology—is placed in the center of the core from tip to tail. LCT, a World Cup-derived technology, stabilizes the skis, glues them to the snow, and prevents negative flex, ensuring dynamic control over the turn line. The entire structure is reinforced with a double layer of titanium, resulting in extraordinary dynamics and acceleration at the end of turns. The rectangular sidewall provides exceptional stability and exemplary edge grip on the most demanding hardpack.

Thanks to the R22 sports plate, which provides a kind of sports suspension for the ski, the underfoot section provides excellent grip in turns on hard surfaces. The monolithic plate further enhances the ski's stiffness and dynamics.

The relatively narrow geometry, 67mm (165cm) and 66mm (156, 150cm) underfoot, the same as the FIS SL skis, makes them very fast from edge to edge and very easy to initiate and finish turns.

The limited edition LOOK SPX 15 Rockerace, in the distinctive Forza Master colorway, is an elite sport binding, only compatible with skis equipped with the LOOK R22 plate.

The Rockrace concept is derived directly from the prototypes used by our World Cup athletes. With a short attachment area and a partially suspended heel, the binding allows for even more effective control of the ski's flex while maintaining maximum precision.

The metal Race nose with 45mm of flexible vertical travel and 180⁰ multi-directional horizontal release is a benchmark in terms of precision, power transfer and durability.

The SPX binding features the longest heel flex travel on the market, providing a more reliable hold. It guarantees instant power transfer, precise control, and excellent shock absorption to reduce the risk of accidental release.

Lateral and vertical release values are fully adjustable from 7-15 DIN. Binding weight is 1295g per 1/2 pair. Maximum binding spacing adjustment range is 20mm.
