The new Rossignol Sender 104 Ti Open freeride skis are like a little brother to the Sender 106 Ti Plus, with a 2mm narrower waist and other design features. The Sender 104 Ti is more versatile and slightly smoother to handle than the 106Ti Plus.
At 104mm underfoot, these skis are still wide enough to float easily in powder and soft snow, and their construction means they perform equally well on blown-in snow and churned-out hardpack.
An extended paulownia wood core makes the skis lightweight, yet stiff and stable. A Titanal beam plate is incorporated under the foot, improving edge grip and increasing responsiveness and energy return. Additionally, two ABS rails, made from the same material as the sidewalls, are embedded in the core along the entire length of the ski to harness energy for increased rebound and control. A positive vertical ABS rail in the center of the ski increases the ski's stiffness at the tip and tail, resulting in excellent carving performance on groomed slopes. A Damp Tech insert in the front of the ski reduces vibrations, increasing ski-to-snow contact and ensuring smooth, precise control in all conditions.
An extended core, a slimmer tip, and a generous 25% rocker with a flatter 15% tail ensure the skis don't snap and grip well to the end of the turn. Thanks to the technology used, a new tip design, and a new rocker profile, we have a high-performance freeride ski that thrives on fast and aggressive turns.
If you're looking for skis that love big mountains, fast off-piste performance in a variety of snow types, and are also dynamic and efficient on hardpack, the Rossignol Sender 104 Ti Open is for you.
