ROSSIGNOL X-IUM R-Skin Stiff Cross-Country Skis

Designed for experienced skiers and racers, the X-ium Classic R-skin Stiff cross-country ski excels in a wide range of conditions thanks to its versatile flex and response.

The construction, stiffness, and camber of this cross-country ski are tuned for heavier loads, which is why it's designated Stiff. The lightweight construction, with a Nomex® Honeycomb core complemented by poplar wood on the sides and an exceptionally thin tip profile (R-Tip), provides ideal energy transfer and power while maintaining a low cross-country ski weight.

The active Activ Cap top layer enhances the ski's stability. The ski is torsionally stiffer, yet grips the terrain well and offers excellent glide. The cross-country skis are equipped with high-quality mohair skins, primarily designed for good glide in all snow conditions without the need for waxing. The R-skin strip can be easily replaced after wear (approx. 1000-1500km).

The Integrated Pad and Binding System is used to mount the bindings. The IFP (Integrated Fixation Plate) is built into the ski and is compatible with various types of TURNAMIC® bindings. This binding system doesn't restrict the ski's flex and allows for ideal power transfer. The bindings can be easily moved forward and backward on the plate, allowing the ski to adapt to varying snow conditions or the skier's own preferences.
