This jacket owes its name to Emilio Comici – an artist among alpinists and one of the best climbers of his generation. Established in 1933 on the seemingly smooth north face of the Cima Grande Comici, the Route is arguably the most famous route in the Dolomites. Inspired by the legendary climber's exploits, the jacket is made of an innovative, windproof softshell material lined with AlpineWool® for even better thermal insulation and comfort. A PFC-free DWR finish provides an additional layer of protection on the outside. Taped details and a reduced number of seams give the jacket a clean, minimalist look.

AlpineWool® softshell
Stormwall is a breathable softshell material with a durable outer layer that repels snow and moisture, while the windproof membrane and inner lining allow moisture vapor to escape, keeping you dry and warm. Four-way stretch provides maximum freedom of movement, essential for technical mountain terrain. AlpineWool® is an insulation made from natural mountain sheep wool and polyester fibers.

Designed for use in the mountains
The model features a sporty cut with ergonomically cut sleeves and shoulders, ensuring the jacket doesn't reveal skin when you raise your arms. Furthermore, the Comici features a helmet-compatible storm hood with a contoured visor and a one-handed rear adjustment, two zippered chest pockets, Velcro-adjustable cuffs, and an elastic drawcord system that lets you adjust the jacket's hem to prevent warm air loss. The Comici is an exceptionally durable, water-resistant softshell with AlpineWool® and a PFC-free DWR finish, providing complete freedom of movement.
