When you move, Polartec® Alpha® insulation breathes and wicks moisture away from the body. When you stop, it keeps you warm, while lightweight, windproof, and water-resistant 20D ripstop fabric on the torso, arms, and upper arms protects against wind and rain. Inside, a Polartec® Alpha® Recycled active membrane with a special fiber structure combined with a robust mesh lining releases excess heat while providing thermoregulatory protection from the cold. The soft, form-fitting sleeves are made of comfortable Polarlite fleece in a mesh construction that provides breathability and warmth with minimal bulk. Ideal for fast hikes, they easily roll up when the heat is on, and discreet thumbholes provide extra coverage in cooler conditions. The same material is also used for the center back panel, which provides maximum ventilation when carrying a backpack. This comfortable women's jacket features a form-fitting, women's-specific, athletic fit that provides warmth when needed. The jacket offers excellent freedom of movement and stretches comfortably to trap and retain heat. A soft inner collar feels comfortable against the neck.
