• Comfortable, flexible, and supportive, the MTN Trainer 2 is a versatile, low-cut boot for alpine approaches. It features a premium 1.6mm suede upper and a Vibram outsole. Inside, a waterproof GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane keeps feet breathable while protecting them. A soft textile lining wicks away moisture for added comfort.
• The shoe also features a protective, elastic collar under the laces to keep out rain and water. Designed in Montebelluna, the cradle of Alpine footwear craftsmanship, this shoe features a unique construction that's 15% lighter than the original.
• A women's-specific fit with contoured heel cups provides comfortable support and prevents slippage during descents for added stability. Furthermore, the PU midsole provides durable cushioning and rebound, reducing foot fatigue. The high-quality upper material also features a 360° rubber edge for abrasion resistance and protection on rocky terrain.
• Underfoot, a multifunctional Vibram outsole provides mobility and stability on challenging terrain. Self-cleaning grooves and deep perforations guarantee excellent grip on rocks and debris, as well as optimal traction on soft surfaces like mud or grass. The sole also benefits from a special via ferrata profile in front of the heel, which allows for better grip on the iron rungs of via ferrata ladders.
• The MTN Trainer 2 for women features our patented 3F system for increased flexibility, a more comfortable fit, and improved support. It features a cushioned OrthoLite foam insole and a climbing shoe lacing system that can be adjusted for technical or recreational terrain.
