IQ fenders were specifically designed for all forms of gravity cycling, which have their own rules. Online forums often claim that self-respecting cyclists aren't interested in using fenders because, for them, mud is a natural element and an essential element of competition, and a fender is perceived as unnecessary bulk that often detracts from the bike's appearance. Sometimes it's hard to disagree. I personally recall a beautiful poster showing a rider completely covered in mud with the words "Makeup by KLEIN" written underneath.
As a manufacturer of bicycle fenders, we have decided to break this stereotype and we hope that our revived series of discreet IQ fenders will appeal to professionals.
Their name isn't a coincidence; IQ stands for intelligent mudguards made of flexible, 0.8 mm thick polypropylene panels that protect where you need it most.
