Technical parameters of the antenna:
- Output impedance – 75 Ohm
- G = 2.15 dB – gain relative to an isotropic source
- Standing Wave Ratio – less than 1.5 (standard – 2)
The antenna is a broadband dipole with electrical wave compensation, which allows
the transmission of the entire VHF-FM band – 20 MHz – and makes it fully suitable for receiving
stereo and mono broadcasts.
The antenna has an omnidirectional radiation pattern. Mechanically, the antenna is
designed for indoor or outdoor use and features complete, necessary corrosion protection.
Its compact dimensions – a diameter of 470 mm compared to a straight dipole – lambda/2L = 1500 mm –
make it extremely convenient to use at the receiver.
Compared to the rod antennas with a length of approximately 30 cm that are standardly used in radio receivers,
this antenna provides a gain of +6 dB. The antenna can be used with
horizontal or vertical polarization, depending on the current operating polarization of the transmitting station
in the given area.
