Use:
Use a magnetizer to magnetize the tip of the screwdriver blade so that screws "stick" to it. Magnetization is achieved by sliding the screwdriver blade through the magnetizer's hole marked with a "+" symbol. The screwdriver will magnetize immediately.
The screwdriver tip can be demagnetized by sliding it through the hole marked with the "-" symbol and lightly rubbing it against the walls of the hole.
The duration of the magnetization depends on the environment in which the tool is used. If a magnetized screwdriver is used in a room with strong magnetic field lines (e.g., an electrical switchboard), the tip will demagnetize more quickly. Under normal conditions, the magnetization remains longer.
A magnetizer is used for tightening screws that are located in hard-to-reach places and cannot be "gripped" without a long screwdriver blade. The same applies to loosening screws when the screw is still in a deep, hard-to-reach place after removal. A magnetized screwdriver tip can also be used to hold small parts in places where they cannot be held by hand.
Important !
A magnetized screwdriver cannot be used to grip stainless steel screws.
