Equipped with the innovative Mips® safety system, which absorbs rotational forces during a fall and provides exceptional protection in varied terrain away from the pistes. The durable ABS shell combined with an Inmold polycarbonate layer and EPS core meets the highest safety standards while remaining surprisingly lightweight. The uvex IAS system with an ergonomically designed adjustment dial at the back ensures a precise fit for all head shapes – even in larger sizes (XL). The technical lining enhances overall comfort by eliminating pressure points, while the integrated ventilation system ensures fresh air circulation through the helmet. An extremely practical feature: the uvex Monomatic buckle is very easy to operate with one hand, even while wearing gloves. In summary, this is a high-performance all-mountain ski helmet with added safety – both on and off the pistes.

Technologies:

Hybrid technology: Combines the hardshell construction in the upper part of the helmet with the lower section using Inmould technology. The helmet consists of three elements: a durable, injection-moulded outer shell made using hardshell technology, an inner EPS shell and an outer Inmould shell.

MIPS system: The comprehensive safety system consists of a low-friction layer mounted inside the helmet. The layer is designed to reduce the risk of brain injury – during an impact, it can move slightly inside the shell, helping to redirect forces away from the head.

uvex IAS: uvex helmets with the IAS system can be adjusted in width and fitted to any head size and shape. Another advantage is that the system can be operated while wearing gloves.

Ventilation system: An effective ventilation system that can be easily opened and closed with a glove when needed. The front ventilation openings draw fresh air through the integrated ventilation channels. The opening and closing ventilation system provides optimum cooling and, when closed, keeps the head warm and dry.

uvex monomatic: The comfortable uvex monomatic buckle, with its multi-stage construction and anatomical shape, can be opened and closed with one hand, ensuring a perfect fit of the chin strap every time.

FAS system: The Fast Adapting System straps can be easily and continuously adjusted to fit the shape of each user's head.
