We redesigned the core shape and developed a new core material that is stable, solid, hard, and dimensionally stable. Manufactured with high dimensional accuracy, the core is first applied to a soft PU middle layer that effectively dampens vibrations. The outer, hard layer ensures low rolling resistance and reduced wear. The outer, direct contact between the core and the harder PU layer effectively transfers the rebound energy to forward motion. This is achieved by damping bumps and undulations in the microsecond range, while the rebound (albeit more dynamic) is damped in tens of microseconds.
