Our lightest aluminum rims, the KOM Light family, combine high-end performance and proven tubeless reliability to create an affordable rim accessible to everyone. KOM Light rims utilize an open-cavity design to be lively enough for 200 miles of gravel, while the durable 6069 aluminum alloy makes them strong enough to withstand the daily abuse of a trail bike. Choose the KOM Light if you're looking for high-end performance at a low price.

Use: Gravel / Cyclocross / Cross-Country / Trail

TCS - TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is our industry-leading tubeless rim and tire system, designed to international ETRTO and ISO standards.

4D Drilling - Spoke holes are drilled at an angle to match the natural spoke path between the rim and hub. This eliminates binding and lateral loading of the nipples, increasing wheel durability.

ON RAMP - The inclined recess on the rim allows the tire bead to slide easily and smoothly into place during mounting and inflation.

AL. 6069 - 6069 is the ideal aluminum alloy for bicycle rims due to its high tensile and fatigue strength, minimal weight and excellent anti-corrosion properties.

SLEEVED - The rim ends are hydraulically pressed against an extruded aluminum insert that fits into the inner rim cavity and is further reinforced with an industrial epoxy resin.

Double Wall - All WTB rims feature two separate layers of rim material for added strength. This design creates additional space between the tire and the spokes.

SOLID STRIP - Mounted between the rim and the tubeless tape to prevent the tape from sagging at each spoke hole and to make it easier to inflate tires, as well as to prevent punctures caused by a broken spoke.

GENERAL WARNING:

No matter how experienced you are as a cyclist, be sure to read this WARNING or carefully follow the instructions below. Technological advances have made bicycles and their components more complex, and many tasks related to installing, servicing, and repairing bicycle components require specialized knowledge and tools. Improper installation, adjustment, or servicing can result in component damage or component failure. All WTB products should be installed by a qualified bicycle mechanic using the appropriate professional tools. WTB is not responsible for products that are incorrectly installed, assembled, or configured. When installing WTB components in conjunction with components from another manufacturer, always follow the manufacturer's instructions for their components and WTB's instructions for WTB components. If a conflict arises, seek assistance from your dealer. WTB is not responsible for damage caused by the installation of products from other manufacturers. After any installation, adjustment, or repair of your bicycle or its components, test your work by taking a test ride in a controlled environment, away from cars, other cyclists, obstacles, or other hazards. Failure to follow these instructions could result in component failure. Component failure could cause you to lose control of the bicycle and fall, which could result in serious injury or death. WTB cannot warn you about all potential hazards resulting from misuse of its products, only those that can be reasonably anticipated based on the anticipated use of the product.

Warning: Familiarize yourself with your bicycle and its intended use. Selecting the wrong component for your intended purpose can be dangerous. Also, read the first WARNING in the Maintenance and Repair section of your owner's manual in its entirety.

Warning: Determine the intended use of your WTB rim before use.

Warning: Failure to use the correct width rim tape on your WTB wheel or improper installation of any rim tape may result in the tire bead not seating properly in the rim, which could result in the tire coming off the rim while riding and/or suddenly deflate the tire while riding. Failure to ensure that the rim tape completely covers all spoke holes and remains in place during use may also result in the tire coming off the rim while riding and/or suddenly deflate the tire. Sudden tire deflation (or tires coming off while riding) can cause loss of control, which could result in serious injury or death. If you have any questions about the correct size, material, thickness, or fit of the rim tape, please contact your WTB dealer or contact WTB.

Warning: WTB rims and tires are designed to fit each other according to ISO/ETRTO recommendations. If you choose to use non-WTB tires on WTB rims, or vice versa, WTB cannot guarantee that they will fit as perfectly as WTB tires and rims. In some cases, incompatibility between a non-WTB and WTB product could result in a sudden loss of air pressure and/or the tire coming off the rim while riding, which could result in serious injury or death.
