Increasing weight is constantly impacting e-bike components. To keep up with the technological advancements of modern e-bikes, we designed our HTZ rims with more material in every area of the rim profile. Each rim wall is 20-30% thicker compared to standard rims. We utilized our I-Beam technology to ensure that no load is too much for these rims. All HTZ rims are TCS 2.0 tubeless ready, with a 6mm offset and a 32-spoke design, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of hubs fitted to e-bikes, from e-assist gravel bikes to double-crown downhill bikes.

Technologies:

TCS 2.0 – The TCS rim profile was designed specifically for TCS or UST tires, but can also be successfully used with tube systems. This profile increases the stiffness of the entire structure. When mounting tubeless tires (TCS or UST) using a TCS rim, significantly less initial pressure is required to inflate the tire. In most cases, a standard hand pump can handle the job. An additional tape groove prevents tearing of the sealing tape.
