The VERDICT is our most aggressive front-wheel tire. For when traction is more important than rolling efficiency. Wide, serrated lugs provide traction on loose terrain, while open spaces between the lugs provide excellent mud clearance.

FUNCTIONS

- The centerline, transition zone, and outer tread... all areas feature massive knobs. Tall knobs that dig deep, with lengths that withstand heavy braking, and thick, supportive bases that don't flex no matter how hard you push them. Make your decision and forget about front tire washes.

- The Verdict treads have been updated with improved block and sipe shapes to prevent flexing and increase cornering support while extending tread life. Sipe depth has been reduced on the outermost blocks to improve support without sacrificing traction on wet roots and rocks. The tread profile has also been updated to improve predictability during cornering and provide a smoother transition from the centerline to the side blocks.

- A constantly open channel between the intermediate and side blocks provides distinct zones of excellent grip during braking and cornering. The large open space between all the blocks allows the tread to dig in on the driest days of summer and shed mud in the wettest months.

Designed primarily to dig deep and improve cornering traction. There are countless possible configurations, but to get started, we suggest pairing the Verdict 2.5 with the Judge 2.4 at the rear. The Verdict/Judge combination keeps the front end upright while you steer the rear. The Verdict 2.5 has also proven to be a great rear tire for e-bikes that need unmatched traction on loose or wet terrain.

- TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless casing that virtually eliminates punctures and allows for lower tire pressures for improved traction and comfort compared to a traditional tubed tire.

TRITEC

TriTec combines three different rubber compounds to provide varying levels of grip, support, and durability depending on their placement in the tread. The high-durability rubber underpins the entire tread pattern, extending slightly into the base of each lug to provide additional support beneath the softer compounds used in the rest of each lug. The center lugs are made of a medium-durability compound that provides grip and durability without sacrificing rolling performance, while the outer lugs are made of the softest compound for maximum grip and a slow rebound.

SG1

SG1 is the toughest, most durable protection technology ever combined with WTB's iconic Trail Boss, Vigilante, Judge and Verdict treads, taking the proven "Tough" dual-layer option to a whole new level.

Additional puncture protection runs beneath the tread, making the tire more resistant to sharp objects lurking in the mud. But the reinforcement doesn't stop there. With the clear goal of reinforcing the tire's most vulnerable areas, WTB introduced the new IP+ technology, tripling the height of the proven Inner Peace technology found in all Tough casing tires. This improvement not only protects the tire bead from damage but also significantly strengthens the sidewall structure while providing adequate flexibility.
