The Vulpine is the latest addition to WTB's race-focused gravel tire line. Densely spaced center knobs create a nearly continuous centerline to reduce rolling resistance, while the rest of the tread is filled with short knobs to further enhance efficiency, minimize the risk of flats, and provide predictable cornering traction. The Vulpine prioritizes full performance without sacrificing grip when climbing or braking, making it the ideal tire for gravel racers looking to lead the pack, as well as everyday riders looking for a high-performance tire that performs well on a variety of surfaces, including asphalt, hardpack, and gravel. Available in 36-inch, 40-inch, and 45-inch widths.
TCS Light Cassing
One layer of flexible casing adapts to the terrain to ensure maximum performance, exceptional reliability and low rotating mass.
SG
WTB gravel and XC tires are now available in a protected version with a 120tpi casing and the all-new SG puncture protection, a lightweight, ultra-thin nylon insert embedded in the tire's sidewalls. It provides protection and coverage in the tire's most vulnerable areas. The nylon insert uses flat-profile fibers that reduce the amount of rubber needed to fill the gaps compared to traditional round fibers found in many materials.
DUAL DNA COMPOUND
Dual DNA offers the perfect blend of performance, grip, and durability. The center tread features a harder rubber compound for faster rolling and increased durability, while the sidewalls are made of a softer, slower-rebound rubber for improved control and traction.
Configuration: LIGHT FAST ROLLING
A harder, faster, and more efficient tread compound is used in the centerline of the tire. The sides and lateral knobs are coated with a softer compound designed to be compliant yet trail-worthy.
