WTB introduces the new Raddler gravel tire, available in 700x40mm and 700x44mm sizes, as a more aggressive alternative to its Riddler sibling. The new tread pattern features increased lug height and spacing throughout the tread, and even more height has been added to the outer lugs to improve cornering traction in loose terrain. The durability of the original Riddler tread pattern has also been improved by increasing the surface area of all center and intermediate lugs. With a name that speaks for itself, the Raddler combines the centerline efficiency of short lugs with the grip of visible outer lugs. It's a semi-slick, but designed to boost confidence when pushing the limits of gravel.

Five years ago, the Riddler tread pattern was originally introduced as a mountain bike tire with minimal center knobs paired with strong outer knobs to provide optimal pedaling efficiency without sacrificing cornering traction. A year later, we expanded the Riddler family with 700c versions in 37mm and 45mm widths to meet the needs of cyclocross, gravel, and pannier riders. Introducing the evolutionary wheel, we introduced the Raddler to combine the aggressive approach of our initial mountain bike design with the gravel format of the proven Riddler 37/45. Our development resulted in a fast gravel tire with a mountain bike soul. Love the proven gravel Riddler? Don't worry, it will remain in the WTB tire lineup for riders who desire a semi-slick with shorter knobs.

Raddler 40/44 tires are available in 700c with black or brown sidewalls.

DUAL DNA COMPOUND
Dual DNA is the perfect blend of performance, traction, and durability. The center tread has
a harder rubber compound that provides faster rolling and increased durability, while the sidewalls are made of a softer, slower-rebound rubber for improved control and grip.
