Gabel FR-5 FL LITE XTL is a great foldable pole model, suitable for both winter and summer use. When folded, it has a small size, making it an ideal choice for alpine tours, splitboarding, snowshoeing, trekking, trail running, etc.

This model consists of three aluminium sections with diameters of 18, 16 and 14 mm and is equipped with "WIRED" technology, which allows you to quickly dismantle and assemble the sections, reducing the total length to just 42 cm.

The poles can then be easily stowed away in the backpack for further use. In addition, the upper part is stretchable and can be adjusted to the desired length using the highly reliable "U-LOCK" system.

The "SOFT Tour Grip" handle provides a non-slip foam extension and, thanks to additional contact points, makes it easier to climb steep areas or overcome fresh snow.

In addition, the highly resistant "CARBIDE" tungsten tip guarantees a secure grip and better stability even in the most difficult terrain. This model is also equipped with the "TOP CLICK" SYSTEM (TCS), thanks to which you can remove and wash or replace the comfortable and breathable "Tech Lite" strap. The latter also contains an antibacterial formula to extend its durability and comfort of use.

TECHNOLOGIES USED:

• Fast Lock – external locking system, which, thanks to solid buckles, allows for quick and secure adjustment of the appropriate pole length. It also works very well at low temperatures.

• TPL – Top Performance Locking is an internal locking system that, thanks to the use of a “spreader pin” mechanism, allows for quick and secure adjustment of the appropriate length of the pole. Just set the length and screw. Thanks to the use of two “spreader” points, Gabel guarantees stability while walking or running.

• Multi – combination of Fast Lock [external locking system] and TPL [internal locking system]. Gabel is the only pole manufacturer in the world that has a hybrid of systems in 1 product, thanks to which you can be sure that your poles will not fold when you least expect it.

• TCS System – Top Click System A system that allows you to attach and detach the strap from the handle; compatible with the easy strap length control patent.

• Carbide – carbide, a special alloy of metal, semi-metal and carbon atoms from which the tips of clubs are made – widie. This material is definitely more resistant to abrasion than steel.

• Soft – handle made of very soft, foam material providing comfort of use and a very secure grip.

• Alocs – the aluminum elements of the poles have undergone a process of protective oxidation of the material, increasing its strength, durability and scratch resistance.

• Wired – innovative WIRED technology will allow you to fold the pole with a simple button. The individual sections of the pole are connected with an ultra-durable rope. The advantage of this technology is having a very stiff, lightweight pole that takes up very little space, which makes it very easy to transport.
